- Box of 1 blister of 12 tablets.
- Box of 10 blisters of 12 tablets.
Compositions: Each tablet contains: Artesunat: 50mg
Indications: ARTESUNAT is a preparation for killing the asexual forms of Plasmodim at erythrocytic stage. It is effective against Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmoduim vivax, epecially against malarial parasites resistant to Chloroquine. ARTESUNAT can quickly and reliably control the acute attack and cerebral type of malaria.
Dosage & administration:
As prescribed by physicians.
* Adults: 12 tablets: for 5 days (4, 2, 2, 2, 2). The dose of first day should be double.
* Children:
1-3 years: 3 tablets for 5 days (1/2, 1/2, 1/2, 1/2, 1/2).
3-5 years: 6 tablets for 5 days (2. 1, 1, 1, 1,).
6-12 years: 8 tablets for 5 days (3, 2, 1, 1,).
Side-effects
* The most frequent side-effect are mild and transient
Inform your doctor about side-effects when using this medicine.
Precautions:
Pregnant women less than 3 months should not use except for serious malaria and pernicious malaria.
Shelf-life:
* 36 months from the manufacturing date.
Never use after the expiry date clearly indicated on the outer packaging
