Glucosamin takes part in the transformation to form part of articular cartilage. It is an amino – monosacarid – raw material to form proteoglycan then accord as muco – polysacarid – main element to form articular cartilage. Glucosamin also inhibit the articular cartilage destructive enzym such as collagenase, phosphalinase A2 and reduce the free-based superoxid destructing the cartilage forming cells. Glucosamin also stimulates the reproduction of connective tissue of bone and reduce calcium loss for bone.
Glucosamin increases the mucilage of articulation and the lubrication of articulation fluid therefore glucosamin does not only reduce the symptom of articular degeneration (painful, hard to move) and also prevent the articulation degeneration and stopping its development.
Indication:
All articulation and bone degeneration, primary and secondary articular degeneration, knee, groin, twist, vertebral articular degeneration, inflammation around articulation, osteomalacia, bone fracture, articular atrophy, acute and chronic arthritis.
Contraindication
Sensitive to its components
Patient infected with urinal phenylketon.
Undesired effects
Undesired effect are rare, slightly and fugitive: digestive disorder, nausea, vomiting, heat-burn at the chest, constipation, diarrhea, stomachache – oesophagus, anorexia.
Keep your doctor informed of the undesired effects occurred when using the drug.
Cautions
Glucosamin does not cause the stomach-gut disorder so it is possible for long term treatment. Treatment may be repeated after 6 months or shorter depending on the patient’s situation. Caution should be observed at administration for pregnancy and with the Doctor’s advice.
Glucosamin is a cause treatment so the drug may effect after 01 week of administration. Therefore, if it is painful, pain-killer, anti-inflammation drug can be used for the initial days.
Caution of blood sugar should be taken regularly in diabetic patients.
